My Project Car

Rotisserie

Our next step is making a rotisserie so we can clean up the underbody and fit the 6 speed gearbox.

Most of the rotisseries designs I have found bolt straight into the bumper mounting holes. We now have two engine stands which we might use however they don't appear to be high enough to clear the ground when rotating. I will post more info and our design soon.

More information on other rotisseries can be found here:

My Rotisserie

I have started the design of the rotisserie. I'm using a style similar to the yellow one in the Atlantic Z Club website.

3d Plan of Rotisserie (to scale, scale unknown)

Parts List (to scale, scale unknown)

This design uses two small jacks so you can attach the rotisserie from ground height or floor jacks and then jack it up to rotating/working height. The design also allows the rotisserie to be pulled apart for easier storage when not in use.

Next step is desiging the brackets that will bolt onto the car.
