My Project Car

Audio

Being a lover of audio quality I have chosen an audio system to suit my needs. I have only opted for one sub for true, equal, flat response across the range (not the doof doofs driving around with all bass and no mid or high end sound). Overall I have chosen a system that will look fine and give me a good quality sound without spending TOO much money, and I emphasize 'TOO'.

I have chosen the Sony CDX-M850MP as my headunit mainly because the 3 round faces match the 3 gauges (water, fuel, clock etc.) on the dash and because it is a quality unit (I await the flaming from the anti sony supporters ;).

I have chosen the Pioneer TS-C160R Rev Splits due to looks and performance and a bargain price from JBHifi.

I will be running a Cadence Z4000 4 channel amp (with custom, matching paintjob) to power the splits and sub. Once again this was chosen partly for looks (it has a z logo in the middle), quality performance and another bargain from JBHifi.

I am yet to purchase the Rockford Fosgate P312D2 Subwoofer.
